ERP and manufacturing
An MRPeasy alternative for shops that leave the building
MRPeasy is cloud MRP for small manufacturers: bills of materials, production planning, inventory, and purchasing. Public tiers run roughly $49 to $149 per user a month for the first users. It is a clean product if you only make things and ship them.
Contractors manufacture and then install, service, or bill a draw. MRPeasy does not take off a blueprint or schedule a field crew. TrueScope job central is the lite MRP — multi-level BOM, routing, material requirements against stock — and the install is a project or a service call on the same customer.

What MRPeasy is built to do
MRPeasy plans production for product companies. It expects SKUs, BOMs, and customer orders for goods. Construction drawings, retainage, and technician routes are a different business.
- MRP planning depth for a product catalog
- Per-user pricing that adds up as the office grows
- No construction takeoff and no field-service board
The lighter version for a small contractor
TrueScope covers the MRP a small fab actually runs: nested BOMs, work orders, stock checks, and purchasing when the shelf is short. You are not buying a planner’s workstation for a shop that builds to the job in front of them.
The reason these shops outgrow a pure MRP is the second business hiding inside the first. The metal shop does site work. The millwork shop measures rooms. The mechanical contractor fabricates and dispatches. TrueScope is built for that combination. A pure product brand can stay on MRPeasy.
Production status and receiving happen on the floor, not only at a desk. TrueScope is mobile and works on a Mac. Offline sync covers the plant corner with no Wi-Fi.
MRPeasy is commonly listed around $49 to $149 per user a month depending on tier. TrueScope is $20 per full user and includes takeoff and field service, which MRP products leave out. Prices change. Check the vendor before you buy.

Stay on MRPeasy if you make a catalog of products and you do not take off plans or run crews in the field. Move if manufacturing is one department inside a contracting company.
Questions small contractors ask
Is TrueScope an MRPeasy alternative?
Yes for small-shop BOM, routing, inventory, and purchasing. It is the better fit when those parts are installed or billed as a construction job afterward.
Do quantities from a drawing create demand?
Yes. Takeoff quantities can become estimate lines and bill-of-material demand, so purchasing sees the shortage before the shop does.
Is it only for manufacturers?
No. Manufacturing is a module. Field service or projects can be the main screen if that is the larger half of the company.
$20 a full user. Every module.
Field contributors are $5. Mac, phone, and offline included.
